Here are a few shots of some ducks at Perrin Park. Northern Shovelers, Mallards, Canada Geese and what appears to be an American Widgeon which is a lifer for me.
Charlestown High School Theatre Troupe presented "GREASE" for their fall 2021 show. It was a great show, very entertaining and the house was nearly packed!!
I went to the National Hot Rod Association show at the Kentucky Fairgrounds on Saturday with Aaron, Lukas and Saige. There were thousands of cars, trucks and vans but we were only able to see less than 1/3 of them. The weather was hot and humid and the kids were not very cooperative and really seemed to care less about the cars anyways, they were more interested in riding the escalator up and down. Of course my favorites were the '69 Firebirds of which I saw a beautiful silver/black and one that was deep red...very impressive. I think though my favorite of the show that I saw was the '66 Pontiac GTO. Here are a few pics from the show. Oh yeah I do have to comment on the prices of the concessions...they should be ashamed to charge $4.00 for one bottle of water and $7.00 for a single slice of cheese pizza...grrr.
Dave...How'd that robin seal in there?
